Frank Hsu is the producer for Red Alert 2's expansion pack, C&C: Yuri's Revenge. A big thanks to Delphi for arranging this interview.

We already know we will see Tanya (Kari Wuhrer) and Lt. Eva (Athena Massey) in the game's cut scenes but will Lt. Zofia (Aleksandra Kaniak) make an appearance? What about President Dugan?
Yes, everyone's favorite characters will return, plus we added some new ones to keep the story fresh and exciting.

How many CDs will the ex-pack have, considering you will add a whole new faction?
Right now we are planning to cram everything into one CD, but there is so much stuff it's possible the data could spill over to two CD's! =)

Allies have Lt. Eva, the Soviets have Lt. Zofia, who will Yuri's faction have as a comm. officer?
Yuri has his Initiates to keep him informed.

About how many new units/structures will the ex-pack add (including new special units from new multiplay countries, provided there will be any, Yuri's units and regular Allies and Soviet units)? Or will the addition of new units will manifest itself only in Yuri's faction?
Currently we are planning on having over 30 new units, structures, and tech buildings spread through out all three sides. We are really trying to give the fans a variety of new weapons and tactics.

Don't you think that this expansion will look a bit like Firestorm: two sides fighting, then another one joins the fight (Cabal in TS, Yuri in RA2) and they unite to beat it?
Not at all, the Allies, Soviets, and Yuri's Psychic force all have their own agendas. It will make for a very interesting story. =) Plus, in the RA2-MD, players get to play the Yuri side in the multiplayer mode.

Will there be more about the Chronosphere and just a bit introduction to the Tiberian Dawn? Or are they completely different storylines? Since Kane was in the last of the RA1 Soviet campaign, will we see him again?
Yes, the Chronosphere will be expanded and used to travel through time. Originally Einstein had covered up the true power of the Chronosphere in fear that it would be used for evil purposes. To prevent Yuri's evil plan of mind controlling the world, this ability of the Chronosphere must be made public in order to save the planet. The Tiberian series is an eniterly different game and universe, Kane doesn't really play a role in RA.

What new countries will be added? And which sides do they belong to? Does Yuri's faction have any specific countries?
Yuri and his elite group of psychics will be the only new faction added to the game. Don't worry, we planned out quite a few killer units for both the Soviet and Allied sides.

Are there any differences that were made to the game/Westwood Online interface?
We will be tweaking and improving the WOL interface to make it more user friendly. At the same time we will be adding new features that will allow players to access their rankings and the latest community news all from within the game. Ultimately our goal to build a system where players will never have to leave the game, an actual online community embedded within the product. =) The RA2 team will definitely keep everyone posted as we solidify more details out our WOL plans.
