Hey guys,
I will do my best to be active in these forums daily and periodically. All the comments made so far are right on par with what we have been seeing and knowing from the many experienced players speaking out. I am going to be taking the top issues every week and transferring those to the dev team. I know some of the biggest issues right now are the DC'ers, Gandalf is too strong, Mordor is too weak, and the technical memory leak which many have spoken about. I'm looking at starting a thread specifically from me here where the top issues of the week can be ranked and placed. There have already been a couple started from others which are very useful.
In response to an earlier comment about some balance changes in the 1st patch, Amer was correct that there will be a few. Unerstand though that the 2nd patch will be a very community driven balance focused patch. Here is a little teaser of SOME of the balance changes that are currently being considered for patch 1.02:
-Uruk-hai pikeman balance
-Gandalf the White timer and power issues
-Nazgul cost vs effectiveness
-Army of the Dead timer issues
-Elven sword getting proper upgrades and doing proper damage
-Saruman cost vs effectiveness
-Lurtz cost vs effectiveness
-Continued Ent issues (minor balance change in first patch to make Ents incur more damage from slash and pierce attacks, will continue analyzing for patch 1.02)
These are all subject to change, but are all very influenced by your feedback and comments. And again, this is only a teaser and a glimpse at some of the balance changes being highly considered.
What do you guys think about having a thread with a poll that has the top 5 or top 10 most talked about changes/bugs/balance issues so that we can see just how many people are really having certain problems? I'm thinking of having a poll of this type placed on the official site as well to get a better feel for everyone along with this site.
