You’ve got your troubles, I’ve got mine.

My Parents won’t leave me alone! When I’m on the phone, Dad always wants to know who I’m talking to and what about. I refuse to tell him. That makes him really mad, but it’s my business, not his! My mom. Always complains about my way I dress. And they both shout at me to turn down my stereo. They never like my boyfriends. My mom even tries to choose “suitable” boys for me, but they’re her type, not mine! I’ve tried to discuss our problems, but we always fight in the end.

Mom and Dad are OK. We don’t have many arguments with each other but they just don’t understand me. If I try to talk to them, they’re ao concerned about their own problems that I sometimes wonder if they know I even exist. If they show an interest, it’s to ask how I’m doing at school.
