What if I or someone else disconnects during a game?

With the Internet as unpredictable as it is today, we understand that there are times when people will be disconnected from a game through no fault of their own. However, there are those unscrupulous individuals that would rather not have their losses reported, thereby frequently cutting the connection between themselves and the Internet abruptly. If you are one of these people, you will receive a loss every time you disconnect in the middle of a game. Following are some of the different situations that can occur when either player disconnects:

Player A disconnects, Player B does not. Game was in progress and neither player was far ahead of the other. In this case, Player A receives a loss, and Player B receives a win. Player A will also have their connection rating lowered.

Player A disconnects, Player B does not. Player A was winning by a landslide. Player A will receive the win and Player B will receive a loss since there was no way for him to win.

Both players disconnect. This is rare, but when it does happen neither player receives anything.
