EXT. ABOVE THE BUILDING- NIGHT
We watch the Hitman plummet out of sight. EXT. THE STREETS- NIGHT The Hitman lands on an awning, the canvas slowing him sufficiently to enable him to check his fall. He lands on his feet, his body rolling to absorb the shock. Instantaneously, the Hitman is off running into the dark night. EXT. THE ROOF- NIGHT Lobo watches the Hitman as he makes his getaway. Seconds pass before Lobo turns away… FADE TO: THE STREETS- NIGHT The Hitman walks through the night streets nursing his wounded side. We hear his sallow voice: HITMAN Betrayed… TOOL’s PUSHIT plays as the Hitman moves along. HITMAN Betrayed. Just like Servance said. Too bad I killed him. It would’ve been nice to have an ally… Obviously I’ve been marked as a threat. Marked as a target by a living legend. Lobo. A passer-by notices the Hitman’s obvious pain, as he moves along almost doubled up. PASSER-BY You okay man? The Hitman shoves him out of the way and moves on. PASSER-BY Well excuse me… The Hitman ignores this, deep in his thoughts. His rage. HITMAN I’ve heard that Lobo is the best. That’s the legend anyway. ZOOM on a black Porsche Turbo that sits at the traffic lights, waiting for the green. The CAMERA goes back to the Hitman. HITMAN I don’t believe legends. The Hitman moves in the direction of the car, maneuvering around the other cars waiting for the lights to change. HITMAN They’ve caged me in. That’s good. The Hitman reaches the door of the Turbo. He wrenches it open, grabbing the DRIVER that sits behind the wheel. He pulls the driver out with enough force that he only just manages to take off the seatbelt. The driver lets out a startled YELP. HITMAN That makes me dangerous. The Hitman gets into the car, closes the door and drives through the red light into the busy intersection, resulting in a cacophony of BEEPS and SCREECHING BREAKS. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT The Hitman speeds along, fire in his eyes. HITMAN I could drive away right now. Disappear. (A beat) Not my style. We hear FRANTIC BEEPING and the Hitman swerves, a car narrowly misses a head on collision. The Hitman doesn’t even blink, deep in his thoughts. HITMAN The last thing they’ll expect is me to make the first move… Looks like I’ll disappoint them… CLOSE ZOOM on the Hitman’s hands as he removes his mobile. A faint smile passes his lips. INT. THE CONTROL ROOM- NIGHT The blood stream effect fills the screen as the Agent gets off the phone. He turns to the Controller AGENT Lobo called. Helicopter opened fire and sent him running. He’s pursuing now. CONTROLLER Did he say where 47 went? AGENT Carjacked some guy. Sped off. CONTROLLER Well that’s that then. AGENT Lobo doesn’t think so. He thinks that 47 will be on the hunt. He doesn’t know who he’ll be hunting though. CONTROLLER I wouldn’t worry. He has no idea where we are. I was very careful about that. AGENT That won’t stop him trying. INT. A HOTEL ROOM- NIGHT The Hitman sits, shirt off, his ribs bandaged at a newly bought laptop. His eyes search the screen, fingers rapidly typing. SCREEN ReIpEr: So you’re saying you could find the literal street address of a person just by finding a remnant of their previous connection? Seconds pass. SCREEN KYE: WTF you talking about? Geezer has entered the room NeXuS: That’s about the size of it. The Hitman sits back, a sense of satisfaction on his face. SCREEN Geezer: any of you guys seen the Matrix? Corncobman: I hacked Microsoft! I hacked Microsoft! The Hitman types. SCREEN ReIpEr: I see… Geezer: anybody? Blank: shut up corncob! excal: Anybody like TooL? The Hitman types. SCREEN ReIpEr: I’ll have think about that one… The Hitman sits back. SCREEN DTRY: Anyone else here going to that LAN party over at third on fifth here in good ol’ Seattle? Corncobman: I mail bombed Bill Gates! I mail bombed Bill Gates. Blank: You shouldn’t have mentioned it. Now corncob will go… NeXuS: sure am… The Hitman clicks ‘leave room’. MIRC immediately flashes up, showing countless rooms entitled ‘hackers only’ and the like. EXT. OUTSIDE THE HOTEL- NIGHT The Hitman walks to his Turbo, his voice ominously making it’s way into the scene. HITMAN The Agency turned its back on me. Not a wise thing to do. He opens the door to his car. HITMAN Lobo’s undoubtedly got my scent by now, tracking me down. It’s only a matter of time before he finds me. The Hitman gets into his car. HITMAN I’ve got to make sure he does. But on my terf. He shuts the door, buckles up and starts the engine. HITMAN He’s there somewhere… I just hope I can buy some time… He drives off into the night streets. The camera TRACKS BACK to reveal Lobo standing on a ledge across the street. INT. LAN PARTY- NIGHT The Hitman enters via the large roll open doors to a warehouse literally jam packed with computers and users. In one corner, a man is burning CDs non-stop while various people walk by with ‘WARNING: CRACKER’ t-shirts, or ‘ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US’. REDMAN’S ‘SMASH SOMETHIN’ blares. The Hitman walks up to the nearest person to the door: a boy not much older than sixteen. HITMAN You know where Nexus is? The boy reacts nervously. BOY Why? HITMAN Do you know or not? BOY Yeah, he’s over there. He points him out. The Hitman nods his thanks and moves off. BOY Cool tattoo. The Hitman smiles slightly at this and keeps walking. NEXUS sits playing Counter Strike (and winning by the looks of him). Nexus looks like he’s in his early twenties. NEXUS ( To someone off screen) I told you not to try to knife me! HITMAN You Nexus? NEXUS ( Eyes on screen) What? Yeah. HITMAN I’d like to have a word, if I may. NEXUS ( Eyes still on screen) Can it wait? The Hitman grips his shoulder, shaking Nexus’ gaze from the screen. HITMAN No. A GUNSHOT is heard and a GROAN from the computer. Nexus’ eyes dart back to the screen to see his character hit the ground. GUY (OFFSCREEN) I fragged Nexus! I fragged Nexus! Nexus gets up slowly. EXT. OUTSIDE THE LAN PARTY- NIGHT Nexus and the Hitman walk out and stand near the Hitman’s Turbo. NEXUS Well, what is it? HITMAN I need your services. Nexus, obviously taking the Hitman for a cop, feigns ignorance. NEXUS I don’t know what you’re talking about. The Hitman looks around quickly before withdrawing his desert eagle. HITMAN I don’t have time to argue. Get in the car. Nexus is shocked into submission and gets in. Hitman hurries around to the driver’s side and gets in. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT The Hitman turns to Nexus. HITMAN Keys. NEXUS Why… why do… HITMAN Keys. Nexus digs in his pocket and halfheartedly hands the Hitman his keys. HITMAN Your house. NEXUS What? No, we can’t go there- His words are cut off as a sniper bullet plunges through the roof of the car, narrowly missing the Hitman’s pate. Nexus swears in shock as the Hitman whips his own keys out of his pocket and shoves them in the ignition. EXT. OUTSIDE THE LAN PARTY- NIGHT From a high POV we see the Hitman’s car speed off as Lobo mounts a Kawasaki Ninja motorbike and speed into a pursuit of the Hitman. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT A PERFECT CIRCLE’s ‘JUDITH’ starts up as the Hitman speeds along the almost empty night streets, making his way toward the highway. NEXUS What the hell is goin’ on?! The Hitman doesn’t answer, his eyes darting from the road to the rear view mirror repeatedly. HITMAN Duck. NEXUS What? The Hitman bats Nexus’ head down a second before a bullet smashes through the back window from a speeding Lobo’s gun. EXT. THE HIGHWAY- NIGHT Lobo has caught up to the Porsche. He maneuvers to the passenger side window. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT The Hitman notices Lobo and spins the wheel to the side, swerving dangerously. EXT. THE HIGHWAY- NIGHT Lobo expertly anticipates the move and slows down, allowing the Porsche to swerve away from him. The Porsche straightens out, and Lobo accelerates. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT The Hitman looks behind him and accelerates, the pylons on the side of the road turn into an orange blur. Sweat starts to bead on his bald head, but his face remains the picture of calm. NEXUS Holy… what… HITMAN Keep your head down. A second bullet plunges through the car, lodging itself in the wood grain under the radio, inches from the Hitman’s hand. EXT. THE HIGHWAY- NIGHT Lobo fires from the speeding Ninja, his prized Glock poised in front of him. He fires, causing the Turbo to swerve away from the slug. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT The Hitman braces himself before spinning the wheel violently. EXT. THE HIGHWAY- NIGHT The Turbo jackknifes and the Ninja collides, smashing its front spokes. Lobo is sent sprawling over the boot. But Lobo, in a superhuman act of agility, swivels as he slides of the boot, and fires as he falls. The Turbo revs and speeds away, leaving Lobo and his destroyed Ninja in its wake. Lobo stands, his hands bloodied by his fall, watching the Turbo drive away. Finally Lobo starts to slowly walk in the direction of the Turbo. INT. THE CAR- NIGHT HITMAN You can sit up now. Nexus slowly raises his head, his hair peppered with glass shards. NEXUS What just happened? Who was that? The Hitman is silent. Moments pass. HITMAN Which way to your house? So, das waren die ersten 25 Seiten, die nächsten 75 gibts bei mir auf Anfrage per Mail oder ICQ, is mir zu mühselig auf diese Weise ![]() |
