Another cause we have found that gives this error message is the use of 16 bit CD-ROM drivers. To determine if you are using a 16 bit driver you will need to check in System Properties.
To open System Properties click here..
1. Click on the Performance tab at the top.
2. Next check to see if your CD-ROM drive appears to be using MS-DOS compatibility mode.
