CLOSE ACTIVE APPLICATIONS - If you have any active programs, close them before attempting to run your game (i.e.Virus checkers, Microsoft Office tool bar, game profilers). Active application programs might try to occupy the same space in memory that the game is trying to use. Also see Shut down all applications and Shut down applications in the system tray

Another cause we have found that gives this error message is the use of 16 bit CD-ROM drivers. To determine if you are using a 16 bit driver you will need to check in System Properties.

To open System Properties click here..
1. Click on the Performance tab at the top.
2. Next check to see if your CD-ROM drive appears to be using MS-DOS compatibility mode.

wie wäre es wenn ihr mal alle in die en-uk_eahelp datei bei generals/data/support geht und mal guckt ob euer problem doprt aufgelistet ist...dann müsste man hier ned postennn...
