Das wichtigeste kurz und knapp:

Er hat den Patcher mit Filemon gecheckt und gesehen das es ein Problem mit der patchw32.dll gibt.

Demnach hat er die dll von http://www.dll-files.com downgeloadet und die ursprüngliche Datei im Windows System Verzeichnis überschrieben.

Danach hat her über das Controlcenter das Update wieder gestartet und es lief einwandfrei!

Leider trat danach ein Securumfehler beim starten des Spiels auf. Nach einem Neustart des Systems startete das Spiel letztendlich.

Es gibt wohl die gleiche dll im C&C3 Directory, welche neuer ist, mit der es evtl. auch gehen sollte.

Bevor ihr das macht, am besten ein Backup von der orginalen DLL machen, da die Updateprobleme nicht unbendingt die gleichen sein müssen. Bei mir jedenfalls nicht.

Ich hatte gar keine patchw32.dll in irgend einem Windows Ordner ... In dem Thread stand irgendwo noch drin, in welchen Verzeichnissen er danach sucht ...

Ich hab die verlinkte Datei einfach ins Windows\system32 kopiert (wie gesagt, da war noch keine!) ...

Kannst ja nach der Patch Installation wieder löschen

Nur nochmal zur Info: die DLL hilft nur bei Leuten, die Probleme bei der Patch Installation haben - die Download Probleme behebt sie natürlich nicht ...

Downloadprobleme wie gesagt mal ohne Router probieren... ...lief bei mir dann einwandfrei...

ich sitz auch hinter einem Router (Siemens) und bin nicht DMZ. Dennoch kein Problem mit dem Patch

Geht mir gleich. Habe eifach bis gestern Abend mit dem download gewartet. Hab den Patch direkt aus dem Startermenü herunter geladen mit einem klick auf "Patch suchen". (oder wie der Button auch immer heisst)
