Comrade Preferences

GameSpy Comrade enables you to link your Comrade login (based on IGN’s GameSpy ID account system) with your Command & Conquer 3 / EA.com account. Once your accounts are linked, you will be able to make full use of the Command & Conquer 3 website community & competition features, merge your C&C3 and Comrade buddy lists, and exchange instant messages with your buddies seamlessly between GameSpy Comrade and the Command & Conquer 3 in-game messaging system.

This link can only be made once, and can only be made between a single GameSpy Comrade / GameSpy ID account and a single Command & Conquer 3 / EA.com account. Once linked, accounts can not be un-linked. Please exercise caution and enter your information carefully.

To link your account:

1. Install both Command & Conquer 3 andGameSpy Comrade

2. Launch Command & Conquer 3, and create an account

3. Log in to the game

4. Launch GameSpy Comrade and login with a new or existing GameSpy ID (www.gamespyid.com)

5. GameSpy Comrade should recognize that you have Command & Conquer 3 installed (if it does not, follow the instruction in Comrade’s "Setting Preferences" walkthrough (http://comrade.gamespy.com/help/#preferences) to initiate a scan for games, or to manually locate the game's executable on your hard drive.

6. Once Comrade recognizes that you have installed Command & Conquer 3, it will prompt you for your EA.com account information

7. Enter your Command & Conquer 3 Account name, password and nickname exactly as you entered them in the game

8. Click the "Link Accounts" button. Comrade will connect the accounts, and notify you when this is done

9. Once linked, you will be able to access your Comrade buddy list in the game, as well as send instant messages between Comrade and Command & Conquer 3
